My name is Lebo, and I’m from South Africa. I am a registered yoga teacher and the founder of Yoga Well-Rounded… my commitment therein is to teach the practice of yoga in clarifying the misconceptions about what yoga is. I work with people like me… people living in larger bodies, trauma stricken populations, children, seniors, veterans, and other communities and organizations.
Among other things, I’m also a paralegal, majored in the Law of International Human Rights from the University of South Africa. My entire life’s is centered around the African Philosophy of uBuntu ~”I am because we are”. And as a yoga teacher, I stand for social justice and equity; I stand for teaching yoga on or off the mat in a manner that is safe, informed, transformative and a YES for EVERY BODY.
From my first introduction to yoga from my mother at a young age, I discovered and fell in love with the discipline, commitment and blissful energy that came with each class. When we exercise our bodies and clear out our minds from all the busy-ness and worries of the day, our intuition delivers us the insight that we need most to set stronger boundaries, connect more deeply and feel more at ease. Our commitment to ourselves is to always show up with love and support.
